Assigned Lockers Sit Idle
A locker held for a year by a member who comes in twice a month.
A member books a desk by the day and a room by the hour. Then storage reverts to the old model — a locker assigned for a year whether it is used or not, and a front desk minding everybody’s parcels. Lockera makes storage a resource members book, use and release like any other.
One system for hot-desk storage, member lockers, parcel reception, equipment lending and shared amenities.
Desks, rooms and even parking are allocated on demand and released the moment they are done with. Storage is still handed out for a term, held whether it is used or not, and propped up by a front desk that ends up minding everybody’s things.

Community staff signing for parcels and minding bags all day.
Day-pass and hot-desk members carrying everything in and out.
Physical keys issued, lost, re-cut and never returned.
Monitors, adapters and AV gear lent out with no record.
Space given away because there is no way to meter it.
How one fixed allocation turns into a cost across the whole operation.
5 challenges · 5 operational costs · 1 fixed allocation behind all of them
Lockera is more than a member locker. It is an on-demand storage and handover layer for everything a workspace gives out, holds and takes back.
A compartment released on arrival and freed again on exit.
Long-term storage booked and billed like any other resource.
Deliveries received without the front desk holding them.
Monitors, adapters and AV kit issued against an identity.
Registered-address post collected without an appointment.
Shared-amenity storage on the same access credential.

Lockera is a complete hardware, cloud software and integration stack, engineered for space that is allocated by the hour rather than by the year.
Modular steel lockbanks in mixed compartment sizes, with electronic solenoids, touchscreens, cameras and battery backup, sited in lobbies, breakout areas and on individual floors.
Real-time allocation and release, per-compartment utilisation, dwell alerts, full access logs and billing records, across a single floor or an entire network of sites.
App, QR and OTP access tied to membership, with APIs into your workspace management, access control and billing systems so storage appears alongside desks and rooms.
Idle floor space, front-desk workload, day-pass experience and missing equipment all trace back to the same decision: storage allocated permanently inside a business built on flexibility.

Members book, collect and return from day one on their existing credential.
On the credential they already carry. The member app, a QR code or a single-use OTP opens the compartment allocated to them, so there is no key to cut, issue or collect back. Every opening is logged against the membership with a timestamp.
A member books storage the way they book a desk or a room — for the day, the month or the term — and the compartment is allocated on arrival. When the booking ends the compartment is released back into the pool automatically, so it is available to the next member rather than held empty.
Yes. A bank can mix both models: some compartments fixed for term members who want a permanent locker, the rest floating for day-pass and hot-desk members. The split is a configuration choice per site, not a hardware one, so it can change as your membership does.
The courier deposits into a compartment and the member is notified immediately. They collect whenever they next come in, without the front desk signing for the item or storing it. The handover is recorded with identity and time at both ends.
Yes. Storage becomes a metered resource like a meeting room: billed per day, per booking or per term, with usage records exportable or pushed into your own billing system through the API. Utilisation is reported per compartment, so pricing can be set on evidence rather than assumption.
Lockera exposes APIs for compartment allocation, member notification, collection events, utilisation and billing records, so storage appears alongside desks and rooms inside the software your members and community team already use.
Monitors, adapters, AV kit and other shared equipment are issued from a compartment against an identity and returned to one. The system records who took what and when, flags an overdue item, and gives the community team a live view instead of a sign-out sheet nobody completes.
One credential works across every site on the network, so a member who moves between locations does not need a locker at each. Operators get a per-site view and a network view in the same dashboard, including utilisation, exceptions and billing.
Units carry battery backup, so members can still open their compartments during an outage using offline codes, and every opening is reconciled to the log once connectivity returns. Nothing is stranded inside a locker because the network dropped.
Put every compartment back into circulation, and give the community team their day back.
